Lumineer Veneers
LUMINEER Veneers are different than traditional veneers in that they are ultra-thin (approximately 0.2 mm) and highly translucent, allowing them to replicate the natural appearance of tooth enamel. While traditional veneers are much thicker, requiring the grinding down of your original tooth structure, LUMINEER Veneers are so thin that little to no tooth reduction is necessary. Additionally, the durability of LUMINEER Veneers allows them to resist wear and remain resilient to last more than 20 years.
The LUMINEERS procedure is a completely pain-free way to reshape and permanently whiten your teeth. Because they are ultra-thin, in most cases you will get a perfect fit without shots or grinding down of the original tooth structure like you would with traditional veneers. Once the procedure is completed, there is no post placement discomfort or sensitivity, which means LUMINEER Veneers will look natural and feel comfortable from the moment they are placed.
In addition, clinical testing has proven that a LUMINEERS smile lasts and looks great for more than 20 years. The LUMINEERS process takes only 2 visits to your dentist and the placement of LUMINEER Veneers on the second visit takes, on average, only about one hour.
Once you have your LUMINEER Veneers, you’ll be able to eat and drink anything you want. However, LUMINEERS don’t replace good hygiene, so you should continue to visit your dentist every 6 months for a check-up and cleaning to keep your LUMINEER Veneers looking their best and the rest of your teeth and gums healthy.
